  • Er wordt mij regelnmatig gevraagd of er ook zeeltboeken zijn. Natuurlijk zijn er zeeltboeken, maar de meeste zijn in het Engels. Nederlandse boeken heb ik nog niet gevonden, wel tijschriften die aandacht schenken aan deze prachtige vis. Toch zijn de engelse boeken echt aan te raden.
    Ik heb er wat in mijn bezit. Er zijn er een paar die ik je aan kan raden. Dat is A Time for Tench, Tinca tinca en A handbook of Techniques. Ik heb voor deze boeken gekozen, omdat dit de modernste boeken zijn. De methodfeeder is bijvoorbeeld een techniek die in de hedendaagse zeelterij niet mag ontbreken. Natuurlijk zijn de oudere boeken ook leuk om te lezen. Deze zijn zo nu en dan nog te vinden op Ebay.

Man, wat heb ik zitten kloten aan een water, wat later een maden water bleek te zijn. In dit boek vind je zo'n beetje alles om op zeelt te vissen. Het enige dat misschien mist is de hedendaagse methodfeedervisserij. Een must voor iedere zeeltvisser. Het zeeltboek onder de zeeltboeken.
